Dorothy Knapp covers are currently the most highly prized of all hand painted US FDCs. Her Scout covers, in turn, are valued some 5 to 10 times higher than her other FDCs and are in a class by themselves. Listed prices for these 12 covers (two 48FDs in the 1940s decade, nine 50FDs in the 1950s decade , & 60FD-160) are intended to be the actual current market values.
