Dorothy Knapp hand painted cachet prices
Dorothy Knapp covers are currently the most highly prized of all hand painted US FDCs. Her Scout covers, in turn, are valued some 5 to 10 times higher than her other FDCs and are in a class by themselves. Listed prices for these 9 covers are intended to be the actual current market values.
Also see 48FD-45A variation & 48FD-45B.1 in the 1940s decade, & 60FD-160 in 1960.
